This is why the radio-men are here. To free their beloved radios from their RF prison; to once again give them a commanding voice across southern California.
The antennas sleep in the Sandra vault, hibernating in anticipation of being awakened and given new life.
As we descend the mountain, we can look back and see the beginning of something wonderful. This is but one 10' section of Rhon 65. There are 10 sections to be installed; to be balanced on either side of the radio site and joined together by smaller sections of Rhon 65 in a harmonious structure that will support a diverse collection of antennas in a horizontal triumph of will. |
